Our Lady of Mount Carmel

The Titular painting depicts Our Lady with the child Jesus giving the scapular to
St. Simon Stock. The painting was painted by Giuseppe Cali in 1897.

The coloured marble altar was made by Mariano Spina from Giarre in Sicily and paid by De Luna. The paving of the altar was paid by Family Mifsud in 1954 as can be seen from the family emblem.

On the altar is a painting of Blessed Ignatius Falzon, a cleric from Valletta.

On the side is small wooden statue of St Jude Thaddeus made in Spain in 1957.

On the columns on either side of the altar of Our Lady of Mount Carmel we can see the 11th and 12th station of the Via Crucis in a marble frame.
