St. Vincent Ferrer

This chapel from 188, when the church was constructed, was dedicated to St. Anthony of Padova. However, nowadays it is dedicated to St.Vincent Ferrer. The painting depicts St Vincent Ferrer, was painted in 1881 by Giuseppe Cali. This was paid by the wife of Vincenzo Bondin.

St Vincent Ferrer is seen preaching with an altar boy besides him. The painting was restored in 1947 after the war as it had damage caused by bomb blasts. This side of the church suffered severe bombing in 1941.

On the columns facing this altar we can see the 5th and 6th station of the Via Crucis in a marble frame.
