This chapel has seen various changes over the years. When the church was opened it was dedicated to Our Lady of Pompei till 1933. The painting to this chapel was also by Giuseppe Cali which was made in 1883. In 1893 a marble altar was constructed and was paid by Carmela Agius. In 1895 two niches were built.
In 1933 instead of the painting of Our Lady of Pompei the painting of St. Vincent Ferrer was placed here. In the middle of the chapel there was a wooden niche with the titular statue of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This niche was destroyed during the war.
In 1949 the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes was placed here. The niches on the side host the statue of St Joseph made by Wistin Camilleri in 1947 and the statue of St. Clare of Assisi made by Paul Aquilina in 1989?.
In 1987 a marble font was placed in this chapel that was made in 1930.
