This chapel was built after the war. The titular is made of mosaic and was made by the firm Castaman from Venice, Italy. This was made in 1956. The mosaic shows the Franciscan friar tending to the sheep while adoring the Holy Eucharist held by two angels.
The altar is made of white marble and in the middle there is a marble throne for the exposition of the Holy Eucharist. This altar was made by the firm Sarti of Pietra Santa in Italy. This altar and the mosaic was paid by Family Mallia.
The tabernacle including its door are covered in silver which was commissioned by the Fraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. This was made by the firm Tarciso Cassar in 1964.
On the sides of the altar, as it is the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament two large angels in marble decorate the altar. These were made by the same firm that made the altar. These were made in 1955. The paving was made in 1954 and paid by Family Cassar as can be seen from the coat of arms.
On the sides of the altar are two marble figures of Melchisedek, a high priest and Moses holding the Ten Commandments. These figures were before under the main altar.
On the left hand side of the altar there is a statue of Our Lady of Sorrows made by Paul Aquilina from Gozo. This statue is carried out in the streets a week before Easter.
On the right hand side of the altar there is a statue of Christ the Redeemer made by Renzo Gauci from Tarxien. This statue is carried out in the streets on Tuesday in Holy Week.
A painting of Our Lady of the Rosary by George Preca which used to be in one of the side altars before the niche of Our Lady was constructed is affixed on one of the walls.
