The painting is a work of art by Giuseppe Cali which was painted in 1881. After some damage caused by the bombing during the war which had destroyed part of the chapel this was restored by T. Briffa. The chapel suffered great damage during the war. This painting was paid by Lorenzo Vassallo.
The altar is of white marble and was made in 1949, the paving was made in 1954 and paid by Family La Rosa. On the top sides of the painting are two stone niches depicting two statues of Dominican Fathers, St.Thomas of Aquino and St.Vincent Ferrer.
On the left side there is a small niche depicting the statue of Our Lady of Fatima with three children. This statue is made of wood by the firm Stuflesser and was made in 1957.
On the sides of the altar are the 1st and 2nd Stations of the Via Crucis in a marble frame made by Ronald Pisani.
